Since the 1960’s, the city of San Diego has been a strong supporter of Professional Football, beginning with the San Diego Chargers, a charter member of the AFL and, most recently, with the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football. The city and surrounding areas have shown the passion and enthusiasm that equals that of any professional sports town. Just look at how hard we fought to save the Chargers.
